1. Payment methods

All our charges are in Canadian dollars (C$). For your convenience, we offer several methods of payment. Your bank or credit card company will process all charges in Canadian funds, as required by Ultimate 24K Gold Co. Please have a copy of your credit card and driver’s Licence ready and email directly to sales@ultimate24k.com or fax to 604.689.1638 and the next available representative will be at your service within business hours.

 

2. Do you offer financing for my jewellery purchase?

Yes, financing is available. You can contact us at 604.688.1860 or email us info@ultimate24k.com.

 

3. Will I be charged additional tax on my purchase?

Taxes are 12% in Canada (5% Goods and Sales tax and 7% Provincials sales tax). All taxes are included in the web price. You will be able to see the exact cost of your item including all taxes before finalizing your purchase.

5. What kind of jewellery repair services does Ultimate 24K Gold Co. offer?
We offer a complete range of repair services including:
  • Ring sizing
  • Karat gold and platinum soldering
  • Pearl and bead re-stringing
  • Stone resetting
  • Claw retipping and replacement
  • Ring shank replacement

You are welcome to watch our in-house master craftsman work on your jewellery from our viewing area, this way you can be at ease that your jewellery never leaves your sight. You have the option to drop off your items.

 

6. Does Ultimate 24K Gold Co. offer a custom-design service?

Our designers have always been attuned to perfection and beauty, and can create jewellery that will carry a lifetime of meaning and special memories through exceptional quality and craftsmanship.

 

7 & 8. Product availability and pricing

If you're interested in a piece of jewellery that is currently sold out, call or email us and we can tell you when the item will be back in stock. As each piece is designed in limited addition, sometimes an item can go out of stock before we're able to post notification to the site. If this happens, we will notify you personally so we can help you find another item.

Infrequently, data may be inaccurately displayed on our site due to system errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, they may occur. We reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur and we do not honor inaccurate or erroneous prices. Our prices are also subject to change without notice. 9. How do I find out the price of an item?

Since the price for gold items may be subject to change, prices on gold items will not be indicated. You can contact us at info@ultimate24k.com to inquire about the price as well as any information on products and available services. You can also speak to one of our jewellery consultants at one of our retail showrooms and they will walk you through the process of choosing an item that will suit your taste and your budget.

 

10. I've looked through all of the styles on your web site, but I can't quite find the ring I had in mind. Are there more styles I could see?

Only our best-selling designs are currently featured on our web site. If you don't see the style you're looking for on our web site, email us at info@ultimate24k.com or drop by one of our showrooms to see our full selection of 24K Gold jewellery, Historical Burmese Jadeite jewellery, diamonds, pearls and other gemstone jewellery designs.

 

11. What is an international travel appraisal?

Because jewellery often has significant value and can be difficult to identify, Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) officers cannot list it on a Form Y38. It is recommended that you travel with as little jewellery as possible. Taking the following steps before you leave Canada will make it easier for you to re-enter the country with jewellery:

  • Otain an appraisal report that has a signed and dated photo of each piece of jewellery from a recognized Canadian gemologist, jeweller or your insurance agent.
  • Obtain written certification that the items or jewellery in the photographs are the ones described in the appraisal report.
  • Take the jewellery, appraisal reports, certification statements and photographs to a CBSA office to be validated.
  • If the jewellery was purchased in Canada, retain the sales receipt. If you imported the goods previously, make sure you have a copy of your customs receipt.
  • Carry the appraisal reports, the certifications and photographs when travelling outside Canada.
